THE LAUNDRY ROOM MEETS ALL YOUR CLEANING NEEDS
Located less than a mile from West Hartford Center in a newly renovated space, The Laundry Room on the Ave serves the surrounding communities, offering a full complement of cleaning services, including a state-of-the-art coin-operated laundromat, a convenient wash, dry and fold service with same-day service, shirt laundering, full-service dry cleaning for all your clothing and household items, and leather, fur and area rug cleaning.
HIGH-SPEED LAUNDROMAT
Our laundromat 22 new, high-speed commercial washers and dryers that provide top-quality cleaning. The washer come in three sizes and complete a load in around 35 minutes. The washers are so powerful, your clothes come out almost dry. Our high capacity dryers are big enough to dry all of your clothes in one load and to accomodate large items, such as comforters and blankets.
SHIRT LAUNDERING
Shirt laundering is part of our Next-Day service. Shirts are laundered with or without starch and returned to you perfectly pressed on hangers, or in a box. You may prefer to dry clean finer shirts and blouses. Check out the cost of laundering and dry cleaning shirts on our Price List.
WASH & FOLD
Even though you can be done washing your clothes in less than an 45 minutes using our machines, if you are pressed for time, try our Wash-Dry and Fold service. Simply bring your clothing to us any way you want, and we'll wash and dry them in our machines and return them to you completely clean and neatly folded on the very same day.
OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
We can also dry clean other household items that cannot or should not be laundered, such as certain shams, duvets and comforters and fine linens and table cloths.
NEXT-DAY DRY CLEANING
We offer professional dry cleaning for all of your articles of clothing from skirts, trousers and blazers to formal attire, wedding gowns and even uniforms. If you bring us your dry cleaning before 5:00 pm, it can be ready for you to pick up as early as 5:00 pm the next business day. (Wedding gowns and formal wear will usually take a little longer.)
LEATHER, FUR ; AREA RUGS
We also clean leather and suede items, including boots, purses and coats. You can bring in your area rugs too. If you can carry it in, we can have it cleaned for you.
